Giuliani: Kim Jong-un 'begged' for summit to take place

Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani has said North Korea's leader "begged" for their summit to be rescheduled after the US president cancelled it. Speaking at a conference in Israel, Mr Giuliani said Mr Trump's tough stance had forced Pyongyang's hand. Mr Trump called off the summit in May, accusing North Korea of "tremendous anger and open hostility". But plans for the 12 June bilateral in Singapore were revived after a conciliatory response from Pyongyang. Mr Giuliani was speaking at an investment conference in Israel when he made the remark. The Wall Street Journal first reported that Mr Giuliani said: "Well, Kim Jong-un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in." Six Hindu pilgrims killed in IHK bus attack
INDIAN HELD KASHMIR: As many as six people were killed and 12 others injured when unknown armed men attacked a passenger bus bringing Hindu pilgrims back from a cave shrine in India-held Kashmir on Monday.
The bus was carrying about 60 people on the annual pilgrimage when it was attacked by suspected terrorists.
No group has immediately claimed the responsibility for the attack.
 The suspected militants first attacked a police armoured vehicle, in exchange of firing six policemen were also injured.
Internet service in the town was suspended after the attack.
The shooting happened near the southern Anantnag town on the main highway linking the India-held Kashmir with the rest of the country.
The shooting came despite the deployment of thousands of Indian Army and paramilitary soldiers on the pilgrimage route.
