Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani has said North Korea's leader "begged" for their summit to be rescheduled after the US president cancelled it. Speaking at a conference in Israel, Mr Giuliani said Mr Trump's tough stance had forced Pyongyang's hand. Mr Trump called off the summit in May, accusing North Korea of "tremendous anger and open hostility". But plans for the 12 June bilateral in Singapore were revived after a conciliatory response from Pyongyang. Mr Giuliani was speaking at an investment conference in Israel when he made the remark. The Wall Street Journal first reported that Mr Giuliani said: "Well, Kim Jong-un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in." Riding high on the success of his last release Dangal, that has earned over a 1000 crores worldwide and become India’s highest grossing film ever, Aamir Khan is gearing up for his next, Thugs of Hindostan. Given the amount of money Dangal is making, it comes as no surprise that the star is demanding a hefty fee for Thugs of Hindostan that is being produced by Aditya Chopra.

If reports are to be believed, Chopra has agreed to share 70 per cent of the film’s profit with the actor.

According to a trade insider, “Aamir will pocket almost 70 per cent of the profits while Adi [Aditya Chopra] will keep the remaining percentage. Fact is, after Dangal made Rs 1000 crore, now few people question Aamir on his deals. If TOH makes that amount of money, Adi will get almost Rs 300 crore which is much more than any of his own home productions.”

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan also features Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and his Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles, apart from Aamir. The film is reportedly scheduled to release in 2018.
